What is a parent support group?

Our parent support group is a meet up for parents who have children who have been diagnosed with a type of disability (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder [ASD], Intellectual Disability [ID], Down Syndrome, etc.)

Our support groups are meetings where we have parents meet up and discuss some of the difficulties that they have faced from problem behaviors to work-life balance to struggles receiving help or therapy.

We offer a safe, welcoming and comfortable space to let you be heard and hopefully make some meaningful connections along the way with others who are facing the same or similar struggles.  The meetings are moderated by a BCBA and yes, snacks and coffee will be provided.
