Why do parents need training?
Parents and guardians are the key elements of client progression. At GBC, we are dedicated to working with you to decrease problem behaviors, teach new positive replacement behaviors, and teach new skills for your family member. However, once we have started to make progress, it will be time for us to teach the parents and guardians these techniques so that these changes continue with consistency.
We offer extensive training to parents and guardians about the basic principles of ABA and how to effectively implement the interventions we utilize.
